Adrien Pacsoza is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian and a Certified Eating Disorders Registered Dietitian Supervisors (CEDRD-S) practicing in Austin, Texas. She is active in local, state and national dietetic associations through volunteering and holding board positions, such as Texas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Media Representative, Chair of Behavioral Health Nutrition (BHN) Dietetic Practice group, and President of Austin Dietetic Association.
Adrien began her path towards nutrition through falling down. She had been dancing since she was two and in college was a Kilgore College Rangerette. One day, during practice, she fell and broke her foot—that sparked the idea that she needed a new direction in her life.
After graduating in 2003 from the University of Illinois – Chicago with a bachelor of science degree in Human Nutrition, Adrien began her residency at a hospital in downtown Chicago. She was swiftly promoted to the hospital’s Director of Food Service.
In 2006, Adrien returned to Texas to be close to family, friends, and warmer weather! She opened her private practice, iLiveWell Nutritional Therapy, in 2007. Currently, iLiveWell Nutrition has multiple locations and employs 8 dietitians, and also holds space for semester interns.
Adrien developed an online training and a podcast called Fearless Practitioners that helps motivate and educate dieticians to start their dream practice. In between Adrien’s time at her office and volunteering you can find her enjoying all of the fun Austin restaurants, spending time with her family and friends.
